It's not Firestorm's problem (for the record) so I know at some point I will have to replace with a desktop computer and admit I'm a "gamer" <- that makes me laugh. I did to a totally clean install (more than once to be totally sure I had deleted everything but that didn't help). My computer is a 2 year old HP Laptop so I know that the graphics are too much for my SL uses but I used to be okay before this update. I know this is likely a problem of my hardware not keeping up with the demands of the software so there's not much anyone can do. I am so laggy now that I often cannot move and can only type without laggy typing if I am cammed onto the floor or a similar immobile object (with my avatar not in my screen). Can anyone help me figure out what the heck is going on? Reply Delete I've loved Firestorm from the first moment I used it. I really don't want to have to find another view.
Most of the time it doesn't even register. Then it crashed.again.Įvery time I click on a landmark, it takes FOREVER to register and then it ever so slowly starts to load. I waited a little bit and tried again, to then be told that I did not have access to the location. This time, I tried to TP to my house, and to the house of some friends who live on the same land, and it said "location not available". So I logged in a gain, and was brought to a safe hub. I was able to fly up to it (after much searching.) So I tried to put up a new platform, and it wouldn't rez, and then it proceeded to freeze and then crash on me. So I TP'd home, to start falling through my ground.
I wait a few minutes and it goes, slowly. So i go to log on, and it doesn't connect. I went to go restart my computer, thinking it might help, and suddenly it opens. First time, it would not open to save my life. So I went to go log on with the previous version, and it pretty much instantly crashed.
